Art Wash Encino was created by "Writing On The Walls"
Writing on the Walls, LLC was established November 2019, to produce Murals and Community events in
the San Fernando Valley. Our Murals depict memorable people and events, like: Kobe Bryant, Muhamad Ali, Bruce Lee, 40th Anniversary of E.T. and Elliot taking flight, the Pandemic, and the History of Encino (1769 – 2028). They can be found in Northridge, Reseda, Granada Hills and of course, Encino. Established in 1959, this iconic carwash on Ventura Blvd. washed the vehicles of Hollywood elites since the RKO Studio days of the Encino movie ranch. As well as the working folks from the holiday staple “It’s a Wonderful Life”, also filmed in Encino. The lot was the film location for “Car Wash”, with Richard Pryor (1976), and “The Wash”, starring Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg (2001).
This event is also to help raise money for “Encino an homage”, and “Mural Renaissance”, a 3,000 sq. ft., and growing Mural Gallery. Proceeds will also go to support the non-profit Be Smart Inc., which helps
young people in Los Angeles, in the world of the music industry production.
